I have been happily married to my husband, Dean, for 33 years. We own Comanche Livestock Exchange and Cagle Trucks. These businesses keep us very busy. We have three awesome kids. Our son, Colt, is 28 years old and married to our wonderful daughter-in-law D'lin. Colt helps us operate our family businesses, and D'lin works for TxDOT. Our daughter, Caitlyn, is 23 years old and soon to be married to her fiance' Will. They both are employed at Hi-Pro Feeds in Comanche. 

I enrolled in Priddy I.S.D. as a kindergarten student and attended until I graduated from P.H.S. in 1986. Then I attended Tarleton State University and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood specialization.  I am beginning my  30th year as an elementary teacher at Priddy I.S.D. During my career, I have taught kindergarten through third grade, but most of my teaching has been in the first grade classroom.  So, I guess it’s safe to say that I have been in Priddy School most of my life.

My favorite grade to teach is first grade. Children at this age love to learn and are excited about being in school. It is fascinating to watch them grow and learn so much so quickly. First graders make me laugh and have fun, challenge me, and make my job rewarding.  They are the BEST!

When I’m not in school, I love to spend time with my family and friends.  I really enjoy going for a ride on the lake in our boat and relaxing in the water. I love going on trips with my husband and kids. I also like to read a good book when I have some down time.
